ClawHQ ("we," "us," "our") operates an AI business assistant that connects to your QuickBooks Online account and delivers daily morning briefings to your email. This policy explains what data we access, how we handle it, and your rights.
ClawHQ connects to your QuickBooks Online account using Intuit's official OAuth 2.0 API with read-only access. We access:
We do not access payroll data, employee records, bank account credentials, or any data outside the accounting scope. We never write to, modify, or delete any records in your QuickBooks account.
All data processing happens locally on the Mac Mini installed at your business location. Your financial data is not transmitted to ClawHQ servers, cloud storage, or any third-party service.
No copy of your QuickBooks data is retained after your morning report is generated.
The only data that leaves your Mac Mini is the morning briefing email sent to your own email address. This email contains a plain-English summary of your business activity — not raw financial data.
The email is sent via your configured SMTP provider (typically Google Workspace) directly from your device to your inbox.
You can disconnect ClawHQ from your QuickBooks account at any time:
Once disconnected, ClawHQ will no longer be able to read your QuickBooks data. No financial data remains on the device after disconnection.
ClawHQ uses the Anthropic API (Claude) for natural language report generation. The prompts sent to Anthropic contain summarized financial figures (e.g., "revenue yesterday: $3,847") but never raw QuickBooks data exports, customer names, or account credentials.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
